Opening of scientific coordination office in Chennai. Onboarding India is progressing.

Two weeks ago, a Saxon delegation led by the Rector of TU Dresden, Prof. Ursula Staudinger, traveled to India. The happy occasion: the opening of a scientific coordination office based in Chennai on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism.

Prof. Jacques Rohayem, Managing Director of GWT, which is driving TU Dresden’s onboarding program in India, commented as follows: »We are very pleased to be able to accompany this important step in intensifying relations between Saxon universities and Indian scientists. As part of the Onboarding Program India initiative, GWT will specifically support the development of career prospects for excellent Indian students and will thus make an important contribution to strengthening excellence in research, education and industry in Saxony.«
