We initiate and sup­port know­ledge trans­fer and tech­no­logy trans­fer to the pri­vate sec­tor with more than 25 com­pa­nies and equity invest­ments, ther­eby trans­fer­ring the requi­re­ments of busi­ness to science.

Our net­work con­nects the out­stan­ding exper­tise of Dres­den’s sci­ence com­mu­nity and its part­ner orga­niza­ti­ons with the natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal busi­ness community.

Education

Over 16,000 peo­ple took advan­tage of cour­ses and degree pro­grams offe­red by TUDAG com­pa­nies in 2020. This makes it one of the hig­hest-pro­file pro­vi­ders of pre­pa­ra­tory, app­ren­ti­ce­ship-inte­gra­ted and in-ser­vice edu­ca­tion in Germany.

As a new mem­ber of Sili­con Sax­ony, we look for­ward to con­tri­bu­ting our edu­ca­tio­nal exper­tise to the asso­cia­tion and its mem­bers and working tog­e­ther to find solu­ti­ons to the chal­lenges facing the industry. 
Altavo, a startup in AI-based voice reha­bi­li­ta­tion foun­ded in 2021, suc­cessfully clo­sed its Series A finan­cing round on Febru­ary 1, 2024. A Euro­pean con­sor­tium led by OCCIDENT is inves­t­ing € 5.0m in the deve­lo­p­ment of Altavo’s novel Arti­fi­cial Voice. 
At the intro­duc­tory mee­ting with Dr. Fran­ces Zed­ler, Chris­tiane Demm­ler, Con­stan­tin Wolf and the DIU team, repre­sen­ted by Jana Schulle, Daniela Palcu, Laura Byfut, Prof. Dr. Anto­nio Hur­tado and Armin Bie­ler, pos­si­bi­li­ties, mea­su­res and new ideas for coope­ra­tion were discussed. 
We would like to thank you for the lively inte­rest in the Dres­den Inter­na­tio­nal Uni­ver­sity (DIU) Uni­ver­sity Infor­ma­tion Day on Janu­ary 11, 2024. On this day, we ope­ned our doors to give an insight into our health sci­ence degree pro­grams and the DIU premises. 
A cerem­ony was held to mark the com­mis­sio­ning of Deut­sche Bahn AG’s new main­ten­ance faci­lity for ICE trains in Cottbus.
