News : Start of RUBI Glass test phase

After an intro­duc­tory talk and various tests, seve­ral study par­ti­ci­pants went through a simu­la­ted res­cue situa­tion in which initial data was coll­ec­ted on the first floor of the DIU in camera.
The study, under the sci­en­ti­fic direc­tion of Prof. Dr. med. Tjalf Ziems­sen, is inves­ti­ga­ting the use of RUBI Glass gog­gles as a pos­si­ble pro­tec­tive mea­sure for fire­figh­ters. The aim here is to reduce psy­cho­lo­gi­cal stress after extreme deploy­ments and mini­mize the risk of post-trau­ma­tic stress dis­or­der in the long term.
The pro­cess went smoothly and the initial data is now being eva­lua­ted. A fur­ther test phase is alre­ady being plan­ned. GWT is proud to fully sup­port this ground­brea­king study.
