An effi­ci­ent logi­stics stra­tegy is essen­tial for opti­mi­zing the flow of goods and the use of resour­ces in com­pa­nies and along the value chain.

Prof. Dr. rer. pol. habil. As head of the GWT Logi­stics Inno­va­tion Centre, Rai­ner Lasch is inten­si­vely dedi­ca­ted to the topics of digi­tal sup­ply net­works, sus­taina­bi­lity manage­ment of sup­ply chains and the opti­miza­tion of sup­ply processes.

Other key areas are sup­ply chain manage­ment with a focus on bench­mar­king pro­ces­ses to exploit eco­no­mic poten­tial. In addi­tion, the use of block­chain tech­no­lo­gies to improve trans­pa­rency and resi­li­ence in sup­ply chains is being investigated.

The focus is on prac­ti­cal solu­ti­ons for indus­trial part­ners from various sectors.
