Conclusion of the first IOP roadshow in India: Valuable encounters and inspiring exchanges
The Inter­na­tio­nal Onboar­ding Pro­gram (IOP) team can look back on two inten­sive weeks in Chen­nai and Banga­lore. The IOP was pre­sen­ted there in Decem­ber as part of an initial road­show at num­e­rous schools and col­leges. In addi­tion, round table dis­cus­sions and open house events were held at which school admi­nis­tra­tors, num­e­rous pupils, stu­dents and par­ents were able to obtain com­pre­hen­sive information.
Also on the tra­vel agenda was an exch­ange with the Con­su­late Gene­ral of the Fede­ral Repu­blic of Ger­many in Banga­lore as well as dis­cus­sions with other local cont­acts on site, which pro­vi­ded valuable insights and important impulses.
A big thank you goes to the Saxon Sci­ence Liai­son Office (SSLO) in Chen­nai, which was a relia­ble part­ner at GWT’s side and con­tri­bu­ted signi­fi­cantly to the suc­cess of the trip.
The IOP is a job rea­di­ness pro­gram that pre­pa­res inter­na­tio­nal talents from India for their stu­dies, ever­y­day life and career in Sax­ony and gives them direct access to future oppor­tu­ni­ties in Saxon industry.
