News : The boOst for startups

Participants will present themselves at the “boOst” initiative at the MACHN Festival in Leipzig on June 18, 2025.
TUDAG is participating in the Central German start-up ecosystem, which is presenting itself at this year's MACHN Festival in Leipzig.

At this year’s MACHN Fes­ti­val in Leip­zig, the »boOst« initia­tive pre­sen­ted its­elf on the main stage on June 18 with a wel­co­ming speech by State Secre­tary Tho­mas Kra­lin­ski from the Saxon Minis­try of Eco­no­mics, Labor and Trans­port: As part of the fede­ral »Startup Fac­to­ries« com­pe­ti­tion, 10 uni­ver­si­ties in Sax­ony and Thu­rin­gia as well as various inves­tors, acce­le­ra­tors, com­pa­nies and entre­pre­neurs are joi­ning forces to form the struc­tu­red DeepT­ech eco­sys­tem boOst (Busi­ness Opor­tu­ni­ties Ost). TU Dres­den AG con­tri­bu­tes its many years of exper­tise as a part­ner in the non-pro­fit foun­ding com­pany. Tog­e­ther with all other part­ners, we are pur­suing the goal of doubling the num­ber of start-ups in the next five years and crea­ting a new gene­ra­tion of growth com­pa­nies in the region. The result of the fun­ding sel­ec­tion will be announ­ced in Ber­lin in July.
