News : GWT: International Onboarding Program

Recrui­ting skil­led workers from abroad to ensure long-term com­pe­ti­ti­ve­ness is very popular.
To coun­ter­act the shortage of skil­led workers, espe­ci­ally in STEM-rela­ted indus­tries, and to sup­port the Saxon eco­nomy, GWT has laun­ched a uni­que pro­gram tog­e­ther with the Uni­ver­sity of Excel­lence TU Dres­den: the Inter­na­tio­nal Onboar­ding Program.

This enables Saxon com­pa­nies to employ young for­eign talent as working stu­dents – wit­hout any admi­nis­tra­tive effort.
A WIN-WIN situa­tion for ever­yone invol­ved: inter­na­tio­nal stu­dents from TU Dres­den are inte­gra­ted into the labor mar­ket as part-time employees at an early stage and Saxon SMEs bene­fit from their exper­tise, while GWT takes on the bureau­cra­tic admi­nis­tra­tive work.
