Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties Ost (boOst) Eco­sys­tem gGmbH, tog­e­ther with TUDAG and other part­ners, pro­mo­tes the deve­lo­p­ment of inno­va­tive start-ups in the deep tech start-up region of Cen­tral Germany.
It is app­ly­ing for the fede­ral com­pe­ti­tion “Startup Fac­to­ries” orga­ni­zed by the Minis­try of Eco­no­mic Affairs as a startup eco­sys­tem for the deve­lo­p­ment of know­ledge-based spin-offs.
As a coor­di­na­ting plat­form within boOst, ten uni­ver­si­ties from Sax­ony and Thu­rin­gia joi­ned forces in the “Startup Cam­pus Alli­ance” on April 9, 2025 with the aim of estab­li­shing entre­pre­neur­ship and a start-up cul­ture in the long term.
