\nProf. Hur\u00adtado, born in 1959 in Puer\u00adtol\u00adlano, Spain, brings exten\u00adsive sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic and prac\u00adti\u00adcal expe\u00adri\u00adence to this posi\u00adtion. From 2017 to 2020, he was Vice Rec\u00adtor for Uni\u00adver\u00adsity Deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment at TU Dres\u00adden and pre\u00adviously Direc\u00adtor of the Insti\u00adtute of Energy Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy at the same uni\u00adver\u00adsity. Hur\u00adtado has held the pro\u00adfes\u00adsor\u00adship for hydro\u00adgen and nuclear energy tech\u00adno\u00adlogy since 2007.<\/p>\n
Prof. Hurtado\u2019s exten\u00adsive sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic career includes signi\u00adfi\u00adcant roles in the aca\u00adde\u00admic com\u00admu\u00adnity and in indus\u00adtry. Among other things, he was sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic direc\u00adtor of the master\u2019s pro\u00adgram \u00bbHydro\u00adgen Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy\u00ab at the DIU, direc\u00adtor of the Sum\u00admer School for Effi\u00adci\u00adent Energy at the TU Dres\u00adden and a mem\u00adber of various com\u00admit\u00adtees and com\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adons, inclu\u00adding the 50Hertz Sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic Advi\u00adsory Board and the Nuclear Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy Com\u00adpe\u00adtence Net\u00adwork. He has been the spo\u00adkesper\u00adson for the inter\u00addi\u00adsci\u00adpli\u00adnary Boy\u00adsen-TUD Gra\u00adduate School since 2012.<\/p>\n
