The pro\u00adgram com\u00admit\u00adtee, with repre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adves from public insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adons, rese\u00adarch insti\u00adtu\u00adtes and uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties in Sax\u00adony, Thu\u00adrin\u00adgia and Bran\u00adden\u00adburg, addres\u00adsed the fol\u00adlo\u00adwing ques\u00adti\u00adons, among others:<\/p>\n

Does wood as a raw mate\u00adrial fit in with muni\u00adci\u00adpal hea\u00adting plan\u00adning? Can the use of bio\u00admass for energy be envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally com\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adble and sus\u00adtainable? What are the chal\u00adlenges and oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties of swit\u00adching from fos\u00adsil fuels to bio\u00admass in energy supply?<\/p>\n

An energy sup\u00adply that meets demand is the pre\u00adre\u00adqui\u00adsite for any eco\u00adno\u00admic sys\u00adtem. Envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal com\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adbi\u00adlity and eco\u00adno\u00admic effi\u00adci\u00adency of the energy sup\u00adply must be given. With the moder\u00adniza\u00adtion of the energy sup\u00adply, green\u00adhouse gas emis\u00adsi\u00adons and the con\u00adsump\u00adtion of fos\u00adsil resour\u00adces are to be redu\u00adced.
